STRUGGLING TO STAY ACTIVE DURING THE WINTER MONTHS?

As the weather becomes colder and the days become shorter, our motivation to stay active can drop significantly. To help keep you motivated we want to share a few of our top tips on how to stay active this winter so that you can stay on track & start 2023 strong.


SHORT TERM GOALS.

Having something to work towards is a great way to stay motivated. Whilst summer may seem like a distant dream, why not aim towards feeling great at your Christmas party, in that LBD or Tux? Use your Christmas Party, friendly socials or family celebrations as your short term goal to stay active and focused.

BOOK AHEAD!

Routine will help you hit your wellness goals with ease. Booking your classes or PT for the week ahead on a Sunday night will not only help you feel organised but it will give the workouts more importance now that they are written in your diary. Schedule them in and hold them as priority!

BUDDY UP!

If you're needing a little more accountability or an incentive to exercise, pair up with one of your friends so you can accomplish your goals together. It’ll make the workout feel all the more sociable and it is much more difficult to cancel on a friend and let them go at it alone.

REMIND YOURSELF WHY IT'S IMPORTANT.

Exercise is a gift to the body and mind. It has been found to boost your body’s stress response to enable a natural state of calm that can help during this busy festive period. Boosted serotonin and norepinephrine levels will make you question why you even contemplated not coming, so grab your diary and get booking!
